Woke turns two: Reflecting on a journey of growth
Woke just hit the two-year mark!
Looking back at our journey, we are thankful for achieving milestones that went beyond our expectations. Let’s take a closer look at the highlights over the past two years!
MSME Festival Brunei
Woke was the only startup company invited to speak at the MSME Festival – a hub for local products/services and entrepreneurship. Amidst 200+ exhibitors, we shared insights on global investing trends on innovations of the future.
STEM.org Accreditation
Being the first in Brunei and among the few in Singapore to earn the STEM.org Accredited™ Educational Experience trustmark is a meaningful recognition to us. This fuels our drive to continually enhance and ensure our students receive the best learning experience.
1337 Ventures x RHB Xcelerator Programme
As one of the finalists, Woke is honoured to be able to contribute our efforts towards financial literacy and education in Malaysia under the theme “Together We Progress for Financial Inclusion”.
AWE Regional Summit in KL
Woke had the honour to attend the AWE Regional Summit in Kuala Lumpur as one of Singapore representatives – an event held in conjunction with International Women’s Day, dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs. It was an enriching experience – being in the company of remarkable women and learning from their experiences.
She Loves Tech 2022
Reaching the finals of the Brunei round in She Loves Tech, the leading global tech competition for women, came as a surprise for us as we were barely 6 months when we entered the competition.
ASEAN-Korea Startup Week 2023
Woke pitched as one of the Brunei representatives at the ASEAN-Korea Startup Week in South Korea, gaining insights into the dynamic startup ecosystem of the ASEAN-Korea region.
AWE Indo-Pacific Women in Tech Summit 2023
Woke joined the Singapore delegation at the renowned AWE Indo-Pacific Women in Tech Summit in Taipei, uniting over 70 entrepreneurs from the region. Being among the top 10 pitch finalists, we were thankful for the opportunity to take the stage and partake in the AWIT (Advancing Women in Tech) podcast interview.
Our mission was and still is simple – to educate millennials about investing and personal finance. Little did we anticipate these milestones along the way. A heartfelt thank you to those who’ve supported us since day one.
Looking ahead, we are excited to unveil the upcoming launch of our tech developments. As we anticipate the possibilities that lie ahead for Woke, our dedication to better education remains at the heart of everything we do.
